Our passion.
Le Mans Coupes was founded by Nigel Hulme in 2003 following a chance meeting with Jim Price of Hi Tech Automotive in Charlotte, Carolina. Nigel is well known in the historic racing circles for his successful exploits in both Lola T70’s and the world famous Le Mans Cobra ‘39PH’. When in Charlotte, he was invited to drive the Superformance MK3 and instantly recognised the quality of the build and drive of the car.
Having been so impressed with the car, and upon hearing news of the upcoming Shelby Daytona Cobra (then known as the Daytona Cobra Coupe) Nigel became the UK agent.
Initially importing the Shelby Daytona Cobra Nigel grew the offering to include the Shelby sanctioned Superformance MKIII, GT40P/2000 series continuation GT40, Corvette Grand Sport and the LMC MKII with more cars to be added to the portfolio as the opportunity arises.
Over the past year we’ve expanded our vehicle portfolio to include the HyperRacer X1 and Spartan Motor Company 300. Two vehicles that push the boundaries of what’s technological possible in a road, track and race cars. These state-of-the-art composite speed machines pave the way for the next chapter of Le Mans Coupes.
