LE MANS COUPES HISTORY
Founded by Nigel Hulme in 2003 following a chance meeting with Jim Price of Hi Tech Automotive in Charlotte, Carolina. However, Nigel is also well known in the historic racing circles for his successful exploits in firstly the Lola T70’s and secondly the world famous Le Mans Cobra ‘39PH’. When in Charlotte, he was invited to drive the Superformance MK3 and instantly recognised the quality of the build and drive of the car.
After that being so impressed with the car, and upon hearing news of the upcoming Shelby Daytona Cobra (then known as the Daytona Cobra Coupe) Nigel subsequently became the UK agent for Superformance.
Initially importing the Shelby Daytona Cobra Nigel grew the offering to include the Shelby sanctioned Superformance MKIII, GT40P/2000 series continuation GT40, Corvette Grand Sport and the LMC MKII with more cars to be added to the portfolio as the opportunity arises.

Here is a Cobra we have taken from abandoned kit to road ready. You can see in photo 2 how it arrived to us.
Will be posting more project work shortly but our service ranges from FIA HTP builds/ rebuilds (as per the current GT40 project we are working on) to Kit Car completion for those that have run out of time / space or expertise to get their car on the road / track.

There’s not many occasions when a GT40 doesn’t steal the show, but look at that Range Rover doesn’t look amazing, that’s the near perfect 2 car garage right there
